Question 1

What is cash flow forecasting?

Accepted Answer

Cash flow forecasting projects your future account balances by applying your recurring income and expenses forward in time, so you can see exactly what you will have on any future date and spot shortfalls before they happen.

Question 2

Can Flowstate Finance forecast my net worth?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Flowstate Finance combines your accounts, savings, investments, property and debts into a single net worth figure, tracks its history over time and projects how it grows alongside your cash flow forecast.

Question 3

Does it work for self-employed people and contractors?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Flowstate Work add-on handles estimates, invoices, payments, project costs, staff hours, CIS deductions, retention, warranties, VAT returns and a self-assessment tax summary.

Question 4

Does Flowstate Finance connect to my bank?

Accepted Answer

It does not need to. You import statements by CSV or enter figures directly, which keeps your forecast clean and fully under your control.
